The Catherine’s Palace is a former imperial palace, the official summer residence of three Russian monarchs - Catherine I, Elizabeth I (the daughter of Peter the Great) and Catherine II, a masterpiece of Russian baroque of the XVIII century. Walk through the large park around the Residence and enjoy fresh air and beauty of the nature.
A visit to the Amber Room - the “eighth wonder of the world” will become a charry on the cake. This place has a special historical value, the fate of which is shrouded in thousands of secrets. For 70 years, several generations of monarchs were engaged in its construction. During World War II, everything was robbed. Recreation according to original drawings and sketches took 24 years of painstaking work of restorers.
